On Friday 28th August St Joseph's had our Jump Off. Through our Jump Off we were raising funds for the National Heart Foundation, which is an organisation that helps people affected by Heart Disease, fund research, help people make healthy living choices and run programmes for heart. Our challenge was to skip in a variety of challenges for 5 mins. We had so much fun!
Today we had a visit from 3 of the Bay of Plenty Steamers. They came to visit us to bring the message of ‘Step Up’ - you can stop bullying at your school.
This term in Te Reo we are learning about Marae Pōhiri as we prepare for our trip to a Marae later in the term. We have also been practicing many different songs and dances to perform.
